Eric Lee makes his debut as a solo artist with the Zavala produced track “Toda La Noche”

Eric Lee joined his family’s band “Los Desperadoz” in 2018 as lead vocalist. He performed with the Latin Grammy- nominated group along side his father Lee Villarreal & a few of his uncles.

The third generation Tejano performer made head-way with the group as his musical journey began to take shape. He adopted a sound of his own and knew he couldn’t fuse that uniqueness with the rooted traditional sound of Los Desperadoz.  He didn’t want to take away the musical direction that was already there before he joined the band. After a couple of years with the group he decided to pursue a solo career.
He wanted to keep exploring that uniqueness and knew exactly who could help bring that sound together. Singer, songwriter & producer extraordinaire the award-winning hit maker Gabriel Zavala!

The two collaborated on the debut Ep “Toda La Noche” putting together five tracks that deliver in an array of Cumbia Pop style & sound. A combination that has been embraced by the Tejano genres younger generation & adopted by some traditionalist as part of the New Tejano genre of its own! Eric Lee has clearly made a statement and has made his mark within the industry on his own terms.

“I’m super excited to once again be helping a new artist break onto the scene as a producer, songwriter & musician. If you are a fan of ZavalaMusic, you already know we push the limits beyond!” Thanks so much fam!-Gabriel Zavala
